  I had my wife's services at Joseph J Smith's when I lost her in May and Joe was there to help with all the arrangements, the wake, the flowers, the funeral, everything. I understand that funeral directors are trained to work with grief, being kind, caring, sympathetic to your loss, but with Joe it was more like that is who he genuinely is as a person. I cannot say enough about how Joe and the people there helped me and my family when we were hurting the most. I highly recommend this funeral home to anyone in Putnam County.

  This funeral home treated my family very, very well. The director, Joe Smith, helped us make all of the arrangements for my father. Joe was helpful, patient, sensitive and took care of many details to make it a personal and meaningful experience. A thumbs up.

  The staff was very nice and compassionate. They helped when flowers were delivered to the wrong funeral home. They went and got them for us so no one would have to leave.
